An interview in front of a panel of three journalists. Questions about personal skills e.g. talk about a situation in which you had to work in a team and had to overcome a disagreement. There were also questions about imagined work scenarios e.g. Obama has died in a car accident, we need to make a programme on it, what information do you put in and in what order, at what time are we broadcasting it, what BBC journalists would be involved?

Collected from reception by one person and taken to a room with 2 interviewers, each taking it in turns to ask questions. Making notes and scoring answers. Made to feel comfortable.

Around 45 mins long, 5 or 6 questions. Mostly about team work, experience and scenario's. There were two people on the board and they took in turns to ask. There was no pre-prep for the interview.
