      Manager Interview

      11 Oct 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Auto-Chlor System in Aug 2010

      Interview

I was contacted by the company Human Resources Director. She was very nice. She talked to me over the phone first and then set me up with an interview for another manager. She interviewed me herself and had me take tests. I then had another interview with a company executive. She was there at the end and said she would contact me within a few days. She never did. I felt this was upsetting because you do not expect to interview with someone many times and receive no response/ feedback.

      Application

The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Auto-Chlor System (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

I should have listened to the other reviews. What a waste of time. I applied to one the many internet postings that they have littered around everywhere. Set up a phone interview with an HR person. After the phone screen I was set up for an interview at one of their field offices. Parking was a bit difficult and there was no obvious entrance to the building. After that I was scheduled to take a few computer-based tests at one of their offices. Offices are really old warehouses. Tests seemed to go well and after that I had an interview with an area manager. They seemed to really like me and I thought the process might continue, but after about 6 weeks with no follow-up, I'm sure it's safe to assume that I am out of the running. My own follow-ups were pointless, they were always unavailable and never returned my calls/emails. After going fairly deep into the process with their hiring team, they didn't even thank me for my time. I see now what the other people were talking about. A lot of little things that add up to one big red flag of incompetance or like they are trying to hide something. It's definitely suspicious that the same openings keep getting posted up again and again. There seems to be a pattern of leaving candidates/applicants out to dry- if this is what goes on when they are trying to attract talent, I can't even imagine what type of neglect goes on for those who already work there. If you want to jump through a bunch of hoops during a process of 4-6 weeks only to hear nothing, then good luck!
