I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Assurant in Feb 2016
Interview
Typical process, sent me an email requesting an assessment, took the assessment then they sent me an email asking for a phone interview. The phone interview was long, the manager was nice she asked a lot of follow up questions, interrupted a lot. She said she was worried that I didn't have a degree and they usually don't hire people without degrees, especially people that are pursuing them currently because the claims workload is too heavy and they find it often causes people to have issues when they have too much on their plate, but she would send my information up to the directors anyway and she informed me she would get back with me within a few days. I sent her a thank you email. I never heard from her again.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical behavorial
A lot of follow up questions, be very thorough in your answers and be very decisive and try not to "open another can of worms" because you'll just get more follow up questions with them trying to trip you up.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Assurant (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2022
Interview
The interview process began with a video call between a recruiter, and then a second interview with a claims team manager. Both interviewers were down to earth and interacted well with me.
