Step one phone interview w HR/Recruiter (Applied Group), Step two in-person interview w same person plus manager, Step three personality/IQ test, Step four interview w upper management.
Step one I was made to feel very comfortable and there were no oddball questions asked. Immediately advanced to Step two, meeting with them and again feeling extremely comfortable, being asked typical questions like strengths/weaknesses, example of time you had an obstacle to overcome and how you got past it. Felt a great rapport and was asked to go to Step three, the personality/IQ test, which is taken at Applied Group office. Very lengthy process as you're answering multiple choice of which word is most like you and least like you, and then situational questions to determine if you would take credit for someone else's work or step on others to advance yourself. Apparently my personality was "wrong" as they either thought I was lying about actually having ethics and NOT stepping on others to get ahead or claim anyone's work as my own (and there were lots of questions that were the same, just worded slightly different) or maybe I came off as a doormat because when I first was scheduled to take the test they had already mentioned how they were anxious to set me up for Step four, which would happen as soon as my test results came back. After following up a few days after taking the test, got an email from recruiter saying out of office but would get back with me soon, two days later got the dreaded, cold and impersonal form email saying while my skills were impressive they decided to pursue another candidate for the position. Everything seemed to go well up until the personality test, so I guess I "failed" that. Quite the lengthy process and when I asked for specifics on what my downfalls were, to help me on my next interview, I never got a response and forever became invisible. Only to see the same position advertised a few short weeks later.
