I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Acumen (Burlingame, CA) in Dec 2018
Interview
Writing test > Phone Screen with HR > Phone Interview with Department Manager > Invitation to Onsite Interview. Most of my travel expenses were paid for the onsite interview, the interview still cost me about $200 in travel. Interview started off with a tour and was followed by a logic test. Then a series on 1:1 visits with different individuals from the Department. Also a 2:1 lunch interview that they paid for. Onsite for about 5 hours. No specific structure to the individual visits, but productive conversations and it seemed to be with with employees you would supervise, peers and managers above you. Overall, an organized process that gives you a feel for the company and a good idea of "fit".

Interview
Phone Screen Interview
The first round was a phone screening conducted by a recruiter. This conversation focused on my background, relevant experience, and understanding of the role. In-Person Interview
The second round was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and potentially a team member. This round went deeper into my technical expertise and practical experience. I was asked to walk through specific projects, explain my decision-making process, and demonstrate how I approach real-world challenges.

They have 4 rounds of interview, one is more like a written test ,where you get asked some statsiticals or basic math questions. there are 3 rounds face to face interview, mainly behavioral questions
Informational phone call first. If you pass, then you receive an assignment. If you pass, then you are invited to 3 hours of back-to-back interviews for "on-site." About 1-2 weeks between each round. On-site also had a logic test.
