      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2012

      Interview

Accenture recruiters vary in style and organization. I was initially contacted by a woman in the DC office. She was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had. I started with an initial "Here's what the position is" phone call with the recruiter. She then set me up with a First Round phone interview with an executive for a few days later. In the confirmation she told me exactly what kind of things he would be talking to me about. He asked me questions about my resume and academic background, nothing too complicated. Be sure you have career goals to talk about. The next interview was the dreaded situational interview. I should mention that the people calling you are from different offices of Accenture. The woman who called was from Chicago, and very nice. She asked a few of the standard questions like, "When was time you didn't get along with somebody and how did you resolve it?" and "Have you ever had to teach people something and met challenges?" Heard back from the recruiter the next day and was asked to do an on site interview. This is where Accenture gets MAJOR bonus points from me. I was nowhere near DC and the recruiter managed to contact an office close to me and and get me an interview there. Of course it drew out my process a little longer, but it was really nice of her to do that. The on site interview was probably the least stressful. I interviewed with a manager for about 30 minutes. He had my whole file in front of him and referenced answers I'd given in previous conversations (HINT: Really non-traditional answers will get their attention) and gave me tips on how to word my previous experience so it sounded even more impressive. He left me in the waiting room for about 30 minutes before I was sent into a partner's office. This executive was extremely friendly and pretty much gave me the rundown of how Accenture works and the different clients they work with. I was feeling pretty good here because it appeared he was trying to sell me the company instead of me trying to prove I was a good fit. Of course he asked if I was ok with problem solving, technology, etc. We talked for about 45 minutes about all sorts of things, not just Accenture. At the end, he told me he was going to recommend I be hired. I got a formal offer about a week later. It was for an office I wasn't really keen on, and I let the recruiter know. She was amazing and asked me where I would like to go and then got me an offer in the other office! Transferred me to the local recruiter there.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

"Tell me about a time you had to teach somebody something and were met with challenges." This turned into a cascade of questions asking to detail the challenges and how I approached each one.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Melbourne)

      Interview

Interview was very detailed. Recruitment team were great. Always on top of things. They set it all up. Exhaustive process. Many rounds. Can take up to 4-6 weeks from the start to finish when you have an offer letter. Initial HR screening is easy. What are you currently doing? Why do you want to join ACN? Certain rounds are grueling. Especially the behavioral. Where hey ask you detailed scenario based questions. Skills were relatively straight forward. If you have been working then you shouldn't face any challenges in the skills round. Partner Closing Interview - most easy relaxed interview ever.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Detailed scenario based ques in behavioral round. Google them. They are meant to test your mind and personality. How you perform. How you think. Your conference.

Had three Interviews. The recruiting process is very professional. They treat candidates with respect. First Interview was with the Recruiter, second and third on the technical side. The technical interviewer asked domain questions. Not difficult if you are prepared and have relevant experience. Overall happy with the way they treat candidates during the interview
