Extremely long, several tests, interviews including submission of a complete HR strategy on their company portfolio. They recieved a yearly strategy for Free! Recruiters are unorganized with time schedules plus frequent reschedling. Upper management turnover is high which is a huge red flag. They keep posting on job platforms the same job but with different titles. I declined the final interview which was also rescheduled several times after spending 3 months in their hiring process and giving them a free HR Strategy.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ASTUDIO (Dubai) in Dec 2025
Interview
Initial HR screening: A short call to confirm role fit, experience, availability, and salary expectations.
Portfolio review interview: A deeper discussion around your work, how you think, your process, and how you handle deadlines and feedback.
Practical assessment: Often one to two tasks (sometimes feels heavy for the role level). Usually time-boxed, with unclear scope unless you push for details.
Final interview (often leadership/CEO involved): Focused on speed, ownership, attitude under pressure, and how you deal with fast pivots. Can be direct and intense.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
hey focused heavily on how I handle pressure and tight deadlines, more than technical skills.
Most of the questions were around my process, decision-making under stress, and ownership of work, followed by a practical task to see how I execute in a fast-paced environment.
An interview, then a test which was completely useless and redundant with a very poorly written brief. Then "final interview" where he viewed my portfolio for the very first time during the interview, which was very disrespectful. When they sent an offer that had working hours of 9 hours per day for six days a week, I asked for a bigger salary and inquired about machine provided and if it was possible to change the notice period from 1 to 1.5 months. Given that I never said my notice period was one month, and that I was told I will have a laptop provided, it was surprising to see that their response was an email withdrawing the offer. A HUGE WASTE OF TIME. Very unprofessional attitude from what they called "the top management".
