ASHREI Professional Services Corporation Interview Questions

Applied online. Got Interview with CEO. Met with CEO who tried to give me different position, which was his personal assistant's job. Was told that would be my job if I wanted it. Then met with his CFO-and position changed back to original position applied for. Very confusing. Was offered the job.

A recruiter found my resume off of CareerBuilder and told me my resume was really strong and that I may be what they are looking for. He then tried to schedule me to come in all via emails and I could not get the opening that accommodated my current work schedule so he just took the liberty of scheduling me regardless of confirming with me my availability. I thought that was very poor communication and it pretty much obligated me to move things around in my schedule to make it to the interview. When arriving at the interview the recruiter who emailed me turned out to be a nice guy and had me wait in a room for the owners to come and get me. I think their big thing is they usually hire and employ Veterans, which is a admirable thing to do. The owner was rather arrogant and conceited and bragged about how much money he supposedly makes. Judging by the office space that they rent, which is really nice, I'd say he does make a lot of income, but not sure about the rest of his employees? The interview itself was rather simple and I guess they really liked me for they gave me an offer within about 15 to 20minutes. The offer was offensively low and he kept countering by saying I'd be making high six figures from the commissions that I closed. But of course we all keep hearing BS like that every where we go. The problem here is they do not let you counter or negotiate their offer. In fact if you decline their offer they just cut off all communication to you. I've never experienced a company that does that? If you want quality talent you must pay them accordingly or you will end up with super desperate candidates who will leave your company as soon as someone pays them $5/hour more than your offensively low offer. Also if you are going to brag about how much money you supposedly make then that adds more insult to injury when you offer such an offensively low offer.
