Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at A.T. Kearney in September 2013.

Interview

Two rounds -- first round 2 45 minutes interviews with a case each. Second round - 1 case where you are left in a room for 1 hour to prepare and present to 2 consultants. 2 individual interviews after that with or without case depending on interviewer. Typical cases from MBA case workshops, nothing unique

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at A.T. Kearney (San Francisco, CA (US)) in June 2015.

    Interview

Very efficient process and a very pleasant experience talking to all the senior partners. They were respectful and diligent in their approach. The questions were pertinent and tested all aspects of a professional career in consulting

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at A.T. Kearney in August 2016.

    Interview

Referred by a current employee. Recruiting process was slow and unstructured. Recruiter called after a couple of months and a few reminders by the referring employee. It seemed like the recruiter was going through the motions and lacked interest. Overall, recruiter lacked professionalism and the process/experience left a poor impression.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at A.T. Kearney (Prague (Czech Republic)) in November 2008.

    Interview

Expect at least 5 interviews, I myself had an interview with approx. 8 people. Every one has the right to refuse you. People are evaluating your approach to the problem: whether you are able to invent process how to get to solution. Plus, they evaluate whether you are nice person to work with, for example, whether they would be OK spending with you more time with you than their family during the project.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at A.T. Kearney (Ciudad de México (Mexico)) in October 2014.

    Interview

Interviewed for Principal position. I had been warned that it would be pretty specific -- really tough industry questions, case studies at a Senior Level
Nothing further from the truth -- it was really a personality click interview. Personal questions, going through the experiences on the resume. I guess they actually just want to see if you are the kind of person with whom they want to spend long hours in the office.

Expect many interviews of this sort -- starting off with those at your level (Principal in this case), and then at least a few partners, in order of seniority. Nothing to be nervous about -- you either click with them or you don't.

    Interview Questions

    • No question was particularly difficult. I was surprised that one of the interviews consisted mostly of making detailed sense of the resume -- as if they wanted to make sure there were no lies or exaggerations and every gap was thoroughly understood and accounted for   1 Answer

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at A.T. Kearney (Paris (France)) in October 2012.

    Interview
