Does Workhuman offer an employee assistance or workplace counselling program?

Pros

Good benefits and some nice co workers

Cons

I think the customer service team are not treated the same as the rest of the company. I don't think that the same wellness supports are in place. Customer service don't get to go to the same events as other employees as we work in shifts. There is 0 career progression. People working there for 3+ years in the same position. You only get a 30 min lunch out of an 8 hour day which is nuts and no time to decompress. At the moment the biggest issue for me is no plan for work after Covid. It seems as though they do not want people to work from home when this is over but they are going to lose a lot of the team if this is not something they are flexible with.

Advice to Management

Relax a bit and trust your staff. QA is really important but too many rules, productivity goals and procedures does get in the way of authentic interaction with the customer so decide what is most important

What is the retirement plan like at Workhuman?

Pros

Workhuman lives it's mission both internally and externally to bring humanity into the workplace. This is what drew me to want to work for the company. A job where you get to sell peer driven recognition to large companies?? Sign me up. I was hired during covid and have not yet met any colleagues in person, yet I received the warmest welcome and onboarding experience. I feel more connected to my fellow co-workers than at any previous company and that is because Workhuman goes out of their way to practice what they preach. There is no shortage of surprises that show up in the mail from our customer experience team for various events and sometimes just for fun (HH's, pizza making, art classes, etc). My sales team is incredible and the managers and VP's are hands on without being "in the way". It's a very strategic, team centric approach. I can honestly say I love my job!

Cons

The benefits are a bit expensive and lacking. I'd like to see a 401K match in the near future and quite honestly was almost a deal breaker. Salary could be more competitive.

Advice to Management

Keep being enthusiastic, passionate and awesome.

Last Wednesday we sponsored the June Dublin Product Tank meet-up. ProductTank provides an opportunity for Product Managers in Dublin to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics and User Experience. It was great to meet other Product and Design professionals on the evening and share our @workhuman story. Well done and thank you to all our humans for showcasing our product and leading with our values. #lifeatworkhuman #producttank
