Does Toyota North America offer parental leave?

Pros

Reliable and long standing company. Toyota will always be around. Pays enough to keep you happy not enough to make you not want to look outside the company.

Cons

Company says they are focused on respect for people, but its a saying not something in action. Since move to TX Toyota has cut or removed many benefits to its team members, new people dont notice, legacy people see the decline. from tuition assistance to reductions in payout for vacation, they do not offer paternity leave and the maternity leave program is sad compared to companies of its size. The list goes on but at the end its still a mega corporation.

Advice to Management

Seriously review your benefits and comp packages, you are falling behind and the rate of change at Toyota is glacial so the backward slide we have seen for the past 5 years is sad and will cost you your top talent in coming years. As well as accept remote work as being permanent. TX is not for some people and you will loose some of the best people because they dont want to live in Dallas.

well compensated. lots of perks with full time hire.
