Does The Irish Times have a pension plan?
Pros
Good benefits in terms of healthcare and pension contribution Flexibility to WFH Nice colleagues Graduate programme gives alot of experience in different departments Good Christmas bonus
Cons
Terrible communication from HR to graduates Low salary Poor management with bad communication Poor training opportunities I was out sick for a few months and was promised to be paid in full (combination of illness benefit & work pay) but I did not qualify for illness benefit as I did not have enough PRSI contributions. I informed HR and was told that they would not be paying the money I missed out on (€1,800 total). I thought this was really poor form as it was not my fault I didn’t qualify for illness benefit and the Irish Times is such a big company. I left the company with a bad taste in my mouth
