How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Scurri?

Pros

Scurri has a such lovely Team to work with, wages are ok and is Monday to Friday regular hours

Cons

Whatever they present as Culture is completely forgotten as soon as you start. They sell a image of a great and organized start up but what we see daily is chaos and waste of money. No proper training is offered, people basically stays there because Company pays in time and is a Monday to Friday job in the heart of Wexford.

Advice to Management

Investment should be done towards training, not in silly parties where people goes because they feel obligated to. Straight communication between teams, be clear on what are the targets and what you expect from your peers.

How are senior leaders perceived at Scurri?

Pros

- 9 - 5:30 Monday to Thursday - 9 - 4:30 Friday - Nice equipment to work on. - While they try to micromanage you there's alot you can do on your own. - Salary was good for the local area. Go for this place as stop gap if you can avoid the start up politics.

Cons

- If you don't gel with your team you're shunned. - Nepotism is rife with those who say the right things getting ahead of others. - People awarded with the title of "Manager" when they're not really managing anything than their own workload. - Certain people in the workforce are glorified mouth pieces who speak over everyone else, one or two in sales and another one in operations. Small start up vibe dictates that you can't complain about these people or you'll be found out. They run the show. - Company focused on achieving positive EBITDA instead of Happy Employees who feel safer to work from home but cant' speak up.

Advice to Management

CEO has hired the wrong people into managerial positions who can't keep staff long enough to build a functioning team. No real advise to management as they are one dimensional and don't take advice.
