Good perks & treats, flexible management when need help, good variety of clients so different projects to work on which are interesting, able to manage your own workload, nice working environment and friendly staff

It's good that you let staff run their own projects and give them this responsibility - appreciate the staff perks during these tough Covid times

How are the career development opportunities at Scott Dawson Advertising?
Pros
Im racking my brain but cant find any
Cons
The worst employer I have ever worked for in 20 years of employment. Murray is a bully at best. He will undermine you in front of colleagues, be disrespectful and abusive. There is a massively high staff turn over rate. One day the person you sit next too will just be called to the board room to never return. I was dismissed without any warnings and in breach of my contract. I was then harassed with letters from Murray trying to make me stick to the terms of the contract, the one he himself had breached. It wasn't until I threatened to report him to the police for harassment did this stop. Apparently terms of a contact are only for you to stick too. After working at SDA I met up with some other previous employees. One of them returned home from a family holiday abroad to a letter saying he was no longer employed. I should have spotted the warning signs earlier but we live and learn. Anyone thinking of joining or starting their career here. DONT. Save yourself a lot of grief and abuse and look elsewhere. You'll honestly regret it.
Advice to Management
Take a course on people management.

How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Scott Dawson Advertising?
Pros
I worked here for a year and a half and I can honestly say it was like rocket fuel for my career. I learnt more about marketing and business management here than in all my years at uni and post grad. These guys will push you to your limit and beyond - that's why some people have posted negatively about this organisation. This company is not a 'love in', it's more like military boot camp for marketers. If you do your job well, listen to what you're told, and get on with it (quickly), you'll be fine here and you'll learn a lot. The MD is a marketing GENIUS. If I ever start my own company i'll get Scott Dawson Advertising on board straight away.
Cons
You need a thick skin to work here, but don't take it personally, it's purely about your work. This is a company that demands hard work, all the time. There's no slacking off, ever.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work, you deserve a medal for your efforts regenerating the area. Thank you for giving me a good job and keeping me on during covid. Richard Baldwin
