What is the salary like at Ogilvy?

Pros

- The people. You’ll make some really good friends. - Exposure to household brands across many verticals.

Cons

- Brutally long hours driven by lack of hiring across all levels of the org. Work is spread so thin as a result of this. - Poor, low pay and an absolutely terrible benefits/perks package compared to other companies - Ridiculously slow career growth. Promotions are given every 1.5 years and recognition is typically given to those at the top. - Too much focus on pitches rather than retaining existing clients - Lack of transparency from leadership (from both your department and overall company leadership) - Moderately high churn rate. Ogilvy loses it’s best talent on a consistent, quarterly basis.

Does Ogilvy offer a monthly bonus?

Pros

Ogilvy looks great on your resume. Reputable and diverse portfolio of clients. Colleagues are generally supportive and friendly, not much office politics here. Free Oggys coffee everyday. Close proximity to good and cheap food places like Amoy.

Cons

Horrible pay for entry level associates, little to no work life balance. Career progression blocked by senior management who see you as cheap labor. Working overtime and on weekends is the standard here. No 13 month bonus.

Advice to Management

Be more fair and generous with monetary compensation.
