Does FastSigns offer malpractice insurance?

Pros

The production staff was stellar as well as the Outside Sales Rep.

Cons

The owners (husband and wife team) fight frequently, in front of the staff. That was red flag #1 I noticed a week into my role. I was told during my interview that my sales goal was a certain amount only to find out a month into the job that the goal was actually $10k more a month than originally talked about, which is an unattainable goal with the "tools" they provide. I said that I am not ok with cold calling but that's what they expect you to do. "Call the clients in our system that haven't done business with us in a while and see if they need anything." That's a cold call! I mentioned during my interview that insurance was of up most importance to me, even more so than my pay. I was told they went with a higher deductible to get "affordable" monthly premiums only to learn my monthly premium would be over $600/mo, which is $200 more a month than anyone else in the franchise is paying. When trying to speak to an owner about all of my concerns, I was talked down to and lied to. I'm just encouraging employees to beware of this franchise!! Make sure that you get your comp package in black and white BEFORE your 1st day!! Shame on me for not doing that, I had too much trust in these people.

Advice to Management

Treat your employees fairly across the board. Don't set people up for failure by setting unattainable goals. Have a comp package in writing on day ONE, don't leave that up for speculation later down the road. BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS SALES NUMBERS!!!! Just be honest period! And lastly, stop talking about your employees behind their backs! The bashing sessions are ridiculous....
