Does Facebook offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Healthcare plan (dental, vision incl), Good time-off package, maternity, paternity packages, wellness package and travel allowances

Cons

None really, by far the best benefits package I have ever had

Advice to Management

The empathy shown to employees and the community in which we serve during the COVID19 pandemic has been phenomenal. Proud to work for a company that goes above and beyond to ensure well-being and job security in times like these.

Does Facebook offer dental insurance?

Pros

* The pay is top of market and few can match it * Perks are unbelievable, dozens of different cuisines for lunch, 21 days of PTO, fantastic medical coverage * Really smart coworkers, some of the best in the world

Cons

* High profile projects can be extremely political and can really be dragged down by too many cooks in the kitchen * In a post Cambridge Analytica world there are huge slow downs in releasing new features / products, people aren't driven by making the experience better for the users as much as they are not screwing up again * People at the company aren't focused on users as much as they are moving metrics

Advice to Management

Go back to basics and focus on users. Take bigger bets and move away from the "move last and take things" mentality.

Does Facebook offer parental leave?

Pros

Good benefits, good perks, beautiful office and researchers are generally friendly.

Cons

Here’s a hint: Lowest Pulse scores in the company. Not that it matters. The managers act like they are above everyone else and can do no wrong. Only one manager cares for her team, everyone else acts like a micromanaging supervisor in a call center. There is no accountability for any bias or poor treatment. They do not support your work or your growth. Your impact is determined only if you are part of the cool kids club—especially if you’re a white girl.

Advice to Management

Restructure the entire team or just outsource our jobs if you are going to treat us so badly.

Good benefits, good perks, beautiful office and researchers are generally friendly.

Does Facebook have a pension plan?

Pros

- You can change and influence projects/ processes and really have an impact - Great perks and benefits (Free food, High bonus and salary, Health insurance and Pension, Health & Commute Budget) - Great career opportunities - Great branding on CV

Cons

- If you are a structured person, you need to get used to flexibility and no-hierarchy

Advice to Management

- Be open and transparent in communicating - Define roadmaps in a clearer way and encourage even more participation and impact from employees
