What are working conditions like at Emma?

Pros

- Steep learning curve - Being part of a fast-growing, global company - A nice new office and some other benefits

Cons

- Hire and fire culture. Pressure is extremely high. If you don't perform or if you are not quick enough, they will find a way to kick you out. Many people left because of the high stress level and being close to a burnout. - They will expect you to do plenty of extra hours without any kind of compensation. Salary is below average or average (depends on the hierarchical level). - No structure, very instable processes, quite messy. - No appreciation (they say they don't have time for that) - The behaviour of the top management is very questionable, manipulative, aggressive and toxic. I have heard plenty of racist and sexist comments from the top management during my time at Emma. Everyone knows it, no one acts because they are afraid they will get in trouble.

What is working from home like at Emma?

Pros

The structure of this company is ideal for motivated people who want to bring in their ideas no matter their title. You can really thrive at Emma and my team members were the nicest co-workers I have ever worked with!

Cons

There is no option to regularly work from home.

Advice to Management

I study at a university and I would love to dedicate more of my time to working at this company. Between my classes and considering the travelling time I think that I would be more efficient working from home. This model is currently not popular at the company but I would love to have the option to work from home.
