Pros

- Consider yourself lucky if you land in the right team (supportive team leader and team colleagues) which does not happen often in Emma - Ownership from the start - Interesting projects - Steep learning curve - Accessible colleagues - Nice location - Suitable place for people with less experience

Cons

- LOW salary compared to the industry (expect no significant raise) - The other CEO is straight-up racist towards some specific groups (even in the company's WhatsApp group) - Office politic and favoritism are apparent

Pros

To be honest, none. There are plenty of startups that are more successful and pay you way more. Their salary system is very clear: market salary from senior management above and below the average of the market if you fall below middle manager. Therefore, no chances of a good salary.

Cons

Low salary, a lot to do, messed processes - totally unstructured way of working. The office is super small and it does get super noisy - every day I had a headache. It is fast-paced because the workload is way bigger the the workforce. Zero benefits at all and lowest salary in the industry. It's good only if you are a fresh graduate and you are desperate.

Advice to Management

Get better HR on board. Hire senior managers also that are not only friends of the owner. Invest more in people since you are so proud to say that you had a turnover of EUR 405 million (USD 494.7 million) and a growth rate of 170% from the previous year.
