Pros

Pros - casual dress code

Cons

High level of staff turnover, across 4 years at least 15 employees left out of approx. 20 people. Directors drain company reserves at the end of each year (evidenced by the accounts on Companies House) so come each January the business struggles to pay suppliers ruining existing relationships with contractor network Lack of flexibility when it comes to working arrangements during COVID-19 pandemic, working in the office encouraged during pandemic even though it was not necessary. The office itself only has windows in the Director's office and one meeting room so ventilation was always an issue No reward or recognition scheme, staff encouraged to achieve KPIs on the premise they would receive a bonus, but this didn't necessarily materialise Poor staff morale and company culture due to attitude and behaviour of senior management who severely lack any management or leadership skills Working hours include out of hours, across nights and on weekends with no time in lieu or overtime pay meaning there is no work life balance. Even getting holiday time approved was a challenge. Pay way below industry average

Advice to Management

Directors - strategic change required judging by company's declining performance year on year Senior Management - take a course in management or develop your leadership/interpersonal skills to improve the company culture otherwise the continuous churn off staff will continue

Pay way below industry average
