Does BNP Paribas Securities Services have a pension plan?

Pros

- Lots of benefits (such as health insurance and a pension fund) - Informal environment

Cons

- Low payroll - The workload is high. In the beginning, they say you don't have to work extra hours but, in reality, you do. Extra hours are supposed to be paid, but your team leader might say they don't understand why you take so long. (I had colleagues who would hide the number of hours spent working, so they didn't have problems with management). - High levels of stress, mostly due to the lack of organization.

Advice to Management

- Work on keeping the good employees. During my time in the tax department, I noticed some team leaders and team managers didn't have the right leadership profile. It seemed like they got the job simply because there was nobody else. I saw people with outstanding leadership profiles leaving for companies paying way more. - Please, hire more people. The workload was too high for the number of people in my team. Because of that, procedures were not being updated and mistakes were often committed. - Let people take their time to learn. Offering permanent contracts and then giving just 6 months for people to learn and be autonomous in their tasks is a huge mistake. Perhaps it would be wiser to offer a temporary (or trainee) contract at the beginning and give more time for people to learn.

Does BNP Paribas Securities Services offer pet insurance?

Pros

The people and corporate culture are amazing. The office location - great. All the benefits like multipart card and insurance and lunch card as well.

Cons

Obviously, the salaries are not that great compared to its American rivals. The other problem is that getting a promotion is quite problematic there and the management quite often promises things they can't deliver on later - basically, one of the main reason I left the company (was waiting for the promised contract for 7 months instead a promised 1 month).

Advice to Management

Don't promise me things you can't give.

All the benefits like multipart card and insurance and lunch card as well.
