Does BNP Paribas offer dental insurance?

Pros

Relaxed environment, very sound people (but on a personal level only), payed overtime, payed health and dental insurance, not many set procedures or policies so many room to cut corners.

Cons

Not many chances for career development (if at all) - you have to wait for someone to retire, resign, or just simply die to get a promotion, and promotions are usually based on how long you have been with the company, not who is the best fit. And if you are a woman, almost impossible to get to manager level. Salaries are pretty low, especially for employees on lower levels and it is extremely hard to get salary increase. There is a serious lack of competencies, skills and knowledge, especially on the managers side. No available parking, lunch is not provided, almost non existent IT systems and support (everything is done manually).

Advice to Management

Just look at the cons sections.

Does BNP Paribas have a pension plan?

Pros

The pay is decent given the good working hours and benefits. You get around 30 days of holiday and 12% pension match, plus top medical insurances etc. You are slightly less paid than a top US bank but BNP is catching up with its competitors in recent years. A great place to be a quant.

Cons

Some groups speak French only so knowing the language here is quite important
