How is management perceived at AdventHealth Daytona Beach?

Good benefits, good job portability. AdventHealth is one of the largest not-for-profit hospital systems in the entire US. Good staff to work with.

Little chance of advancement to management or other fields such as education. Pay is poor in comparison with the rest of Florida. As a religious based organization, the corporation's mission is reinforced in every aspect of work, which can make non-religious employees or employees of a different faith very uncomfortable.

Flexible scheduling while you’re in school, the manager of the mother baby unit is amazing!

Patient load can be a lot at times.

Parking is horrible, and the management and leadership needs to improve, the pay is awful (they will try to give you bellow what is posted which is already low)

Can't think of any. We all worked hard and management took care of what needed to be taken care of, got us what we needed and the comrodary was good within the team.

From Day 1 up until today, I have felt very welcomed. They make me feel included and even invite me to lunch every time. I think that says a lot about the work culture. Literally every colleague I work with is willing to support me in my work tasks when I need the help and guidance. My manager is very understanding to the point that they understand my work progress even when it’s slow. And they give me multiple resources for when I am stuck with something.

The PDO policy is confusing and there needs to be more discussion and education around this. I also think holidays should not be included in the PDO bank and should be separate and an add-on to the balance. Pay could be better for the work that I do, but there is opportunity to progress and get paid more.
