I worked at Womply full-time for more than 3 years
I am no longer employed by Womply/Oto Analytics. I have ZERO incentive to write any of this feedback. I am simply sharing my personal experience that I have had while working there for 2+ years.... While working within the Inside Sales Division, there were countless changes. COUNTLESS! Start-ups are not pretty. They are messy. Everything changes daily. If you have a low AQ, this is not a place for you. However, if you have an open mind, have ambition, and WORK ETHIC, you will be a superstar! During my entire time at Womply, I have seen and felt co-workers in various Leadership positions (Jai, Crystal, Bo, Kirstin, Nate, Alex, etc.) doing all that they could to provide all on our team the maxed possible payout for incentives, bonuses, and commissions. Regardless of where you will work in sales, the commission structure will always change. If commission payouts never change, there would never be an incentive for improvement. Womply is NOT a babysitter. If you are only applying for the work schedule, an incredible amount of paid time off, great health benefits, and/or the hourly pay, this place is NOT for you. Go work at the Post Office! If you are there for the commission-GO!
I ate too many pop tarts and it took me forever to stop drinking so much Mt. Dew.
Advice to Management
When I started, I had no clue as to what SaaS and High Transactional Selling meant. I had to beg for the opportunity to give me a chance. I am grateful that Chris & Justin (and so many others)... recognized the value of my talent. They took the time to care, coach, and train me to be my best. Because of so many wonderful mentors, I was able to create my career path. I believe that I worked every position possible in the entire Inside Sales Team (except for the Director and Sr. Sales Manager. Org structure changed a couple of times). It was unreal how they would assist me in realizing opportunities for advancement. I felt their confidence in me and always felt greatly respected. While working at Womply, I went through a painful divorce. Going through the divorce process was gut-wrenching. It was the absolute WORST time of my life. However, NEVER have I felt so much compassion from an employer (20+ years). Darcy, Jen, Jeanine, Casey, Meredith, Jay, Chris, Breanna, Hannah, Ali, Cherokee, etc.... I should not name names because there are so many. Regularly, many asked, “Jason, what can I do to help YOU become more successful. What do you need from us to get you where you want to be?” They were genuine when they would ask. Always Genuine about my success. Not only my immediate team members but also at the various levels of the organization (C-Suite Included). FYI: Toby and Cory are the smartest people in the room! ALWAYS! Their vision, intelligence, strategy, and support were incredible to witness. Not only do they care about the success of Womply, but they genuinely care about their employees. Follow these two brilliant men. The data that they have is incredible. If you understand what it is that Womply is capable of, it is incredible! It is astonishing what it can do. There is so much value in the product. It is being sold for much less than it should be. If you "get it" and the business owners understand what they have purchased, the software can make SMB's more successful. I am confident that the leadership team will figure out the best path for Womply during this crazy Covid-19 world. Both Toby and Cory have ALWAYS maintained and operated at the highest level of integrity and business ethics. 2+ years at Womply, and never did I feel pressure from anyone to deceive, manipulate, or cheat a Business Owner. This C-Suite attitude trickled down and made a significant impact on the overall Womply culture. No one on the sales team would undercut another. No sleazy cutthroat tactics from other team members. Having worked in sales for over two decades, I have never seen such honesty and wanting to do the right thing for so many. You will never feel like you are trying to take advantage of people. I am proud to have worked at Womply. Womply has only the intention of "Helping Small Businesses THRIVE AND SURVIVE"! Without any question, BOTH TOBY AND CORY ARE WORTHY OF YOUR TRUST! I apologize for this lengthy review. I have seen too many who trash this company because they had no idea what start-up culture is about. Also, there are too many who do not treat their work as a career. OWN YOUR DAY! If you want more money, get back on the phone! If you don't understand any of what has been written above, Discover Card Customer Service is currently hiring. Sales is not for you.
I worked at Atlas Communications full-time for less than a year
None to state! Absolutely none. I can't explain how horrible this company is.. Stay away do not even go to a interview.
Are you looking for a job where you have to walk door to door selling AT&T Internet to customers who do not expect you to show up at their doorstep? If so, this job is for you! If you want to make... barely any money that's solely commission based and walk approximately 5 miles a day this job again is for you! If you want to challenge customers to switch from their current provider and get yelled at by 4/5 customers again this job is for you!!!!! If you want to drive all around random cities with no gas compensation yayyyy you found your job. If you want to be working for a company where everyone believes in this satanic pyramid scheme this will be a lovely fit, you first go into a interview where they ask you about your challenges/goals/experience/weaknesses/strengths. They talk their company up and provide little detail other than its customer service / sales based. They call you for a second interview where you show up to just jump in some random employees car & drive approximately 1 hour away to go door to door in upscale neighborhoods to leach on customers to use AT&T for Internet tv and phone service. You will get yelled at by customers, you will feel embarrassed standing by the sales person as they introduce you by name to these poor customers, and you will want to run to the current Bart station. I would never ever work this job unless I had no other option. You go to decent homes & show up banging on doors until you get a answer & question customers until they switch to AT&T. If you do not make a sale you don't get paid. It's that simple. Do not expect to get reimbursed for you second interview either, you sign a waiver upon arrival. If you want to walk 5 miles a day in a neighborhood you know nothing about in the dark go right a head! If you want to disrespect people in their own homes go ahead and take this horrible job opportunity. You will achieve a higher sales experience at your local McDonalds along side with a small order of morals. Atlas communications is a complete scam. Beware : unless you are one for scamming innocent people.
Advice to Management
Be upfront about your company and what the job entitles, stop being shady. Realize that 9/10 people have a brain and will never work for a company so scandalous.
