I worked at Ticketmaster

Pros

Get to see lots of different events and concerts around the country Well paid part time job for young people Very flexible in terms of working hours Let you swap shifts amount... yourselves management are generally nice Depending on the gig it can be super quiet and easy

Cons

No progression really from supervisor besides one manager position. It's really just a college job. Some weeks are quiet and you don't get much work due to large number of staff. Festivals are... stressful due to the long hours and dealing with intoxicated public Big events can be crazy and you are rushed off your feet with customers, sometimes there could be more staff at these events

Advice to Management

Try to take on board what past managers have done and don't feel the need to change things up just to assert your dominance. We know your the boss. Chill.

Pros

The team here is smart and supportive. I like being around people that challenge me and the opportunities are limitless. We've been given lots of freedom to use whatever technology we need to solve... interesting problems. Can't beat that for an intellectual challenge. Also great benefits, vacation, and awesome working environment at ATC.

Cons

It is a big company. Sometimes working with the larger Ticketmaster group means things move slower than you'd like.
