Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

A lot of opportunities to work with international group of people and travel; training programmes for employees; as part of a bigger group, PPL shares SG principles of conduct; health benefits quite... good

Cons

Being part of a bigger group, internal audits and business controls are taken to a level that is at times disruption to the business activities; the salary follows strange pattern whereby you can be... on a lower salary than person reporting to you ?! There is no sense of managament pulling towards one common goal, they seem to play a lot of politics to suit themselves

Advice to Management

Promote people on the basis of their achievements rather than their political skills; If you want to see real growth and innovation, try to make it part of a DNA at every level of organisation

Former Employee - Glazing Supervisor

I worked at Glassolutions full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Good money if you want it

Cons

Going downhill been took over
