What Employees Say
I worked at SUEZ full-time
Pros
The colleagues are all friendly.
Cons
The management of employees is a little chaos
I worked at ENGIE North America full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
ENGIE operates in many markets so good opportunities to expand experience to other cities' customer's and utilities. Fellow staff in the Norwell office are supportive, engaging, and helpful. Many... other positive aspects of the former Opterra's culture was undone when ENGIE took over.
Cons
Little communication between the many smaller companies that ENGIE has acquired over the last few years, despite having major business objectives being dependent on this collaboration. Travel policy... implemented recently by ENGIE corporate is inconvenient & reasonable expense reports were regularly send back by corporate. Sales & engineering teams not on the same page resulting in customers receiving free engineering work from us, it is mainly a lighting retrofit focused company that struggles to comprehend mechanical work.
Advice to Management
More transparency from local Norwell leaders as to what corporate is deciding can help reduce a lot of uncertainty among staff.
