Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at SEEK full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

benefits become better after the acquisition of SEEK

Cons

too much office politics. Everyone is polishing the bosses shoes instead of telling the truth. Hired too many talkers instead of an executor. In this company as long as you can talk and from overseas... you will be pay way higher than average but do only a little work. You can work from home or even don't do work at all as long as you report a little bit of things end of the month or when your boss ask you to report. Current staff are not being promoted and only focusing on hiring talkers from outside the industry. Keep on mentioning digitalisation and as long as you are digital savy whether is useful for your job or not you will also be given priority.

Advice to Management

stop hiring the top people who only good at talking and no action. listen to the staff and stop practising top down. it should be two-way communication

Current Contractor - Digital Marketing Specialist

I have been working at Localsearch for less than a year

Pros

Amazing management team. Work/life balance. All the training you could possibly need. Ongoing support. Rewarding commission structure. Opportunity every single day.

Cons

I cannot think of a negative thing to say.
