I worked at NIKE

Pros

Professional, good discount & helpful managers

Cons

Busy at times, frustrating schedule

Former Intern - Software Development Intern

I worked at Amazon for less than a year

Pros

Travel Pay or help with reloaction. Was given a £300 budghget to get home office equipment which I was allowed to keep once my internship ended. Lots of workplace events and culture of helping others.

Cons

Development styles are difficult to work out as it varies from team to team, not too hard to adjust because of the workplace culture.

Advice to Management

When I was working as intern I worked within security. As a result I didn't have the clearance to work with many of the central parts of the team. My advice to management is to have interns in... sectors where this kind of clearance and training does not need to be done. I never did it because it would have taken the length of my internship.
