Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at McKinsey & Company full-time

Pros

Work with some of the most interesting and ambitious people around. Interesting problems with (predominantly) interesting clients.

Cons

Long hours are a given, and they increase in direct proportion to your tenure.

Current Employee - Project Leader

I have been working at Boston Consulting Group full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

The organization really gets behind you to make you successful. They make a number of tools & resources available to help you drive impact which is really great. Smart people, everything is well... thought through (flexible employment like time for you, compensation, reviews, etc.)

Cons

Little work-life balance. Expect to dedicate all your time working during the week, and recovering during the weekend. Weekend work is rare but happens.
