Current Employee - Pricing Manager

I have been working at Hastings Direct full-time for more than a year

Pros

Interesting and technically challenging work People mostly alright Genuinely concerned about customer outcomes- not unethical If you push hard, you can get real projects

Cons

Location (unless you like small seaside towns) A bit restrictive in what you can do without committees and directors etc signing off Not great at developing those that don't push hard- wouldn't... recommend for a graduate, will get a perverse view of the world of work

Advice to Management

Delegate more, cut committees back, develop junior analysts, take more risks.
