Featured Review

Former Contractor - Anonymous Contractor

I worked at EF English First

Pros

Really detailed lessons, all work provided, good course work

Cons

No faults. I was happy with everything

Current Employee - English As A Second Language Teacher

I have been working at Disney English full-time for more than a year

Pros

Dependable, Consistent Company. The onboarding is painless and they really do all the work to obtain a Visa for you. If you want a way to work in China...this is the easiest way.

Cons

The money isn't that much. You really really have to buy in to the Disney culture because their biggest "benefit" is free access to the parks...which is cool if you work in Shanghai. If not, then its... kinda useless.

Advice to Management

Chinese business leaders and American Companies very seldom mix. - Pay your people more - Cut out the inappropriate Chinese behaviors (commenting on weight, facial hair, make up, religion,... nationality)
