Pros

The opportunity to work on critical national defense programs. I met many outstanding individuals that it was an honor to work with. Also, good work/family balance.

Cons

The Government is a big machine and it is difficult to fully understand and influence some of the decisions.

Advice to Management

Keep up the employee development and training. Contract Management is a complex field and it takes training and experience to be fully effective.
