Pros
People at Credera are genuinely very nice, and I truly enjoyed working with a lot of them. They were overall very smart and fun to be around. The main reason I stayed as long as I did was for the... people.
Cons
- Management is often be equated to tenure, rather than putting competent people managers in positions of leadership. So many "managers" are only in positions of leadership becuase of tenure, but... lack training and the ability to lead people well, give concise feedback, and handle the authority given to them. - I was primed/promised by my manager, leaders and even partners for multiple promotions that inevitably did not happen. - After raising concerns to leadership about lack of direction and clarity surrounding promotion, I was told to be patient. BUT, ironically after the promotion cycle was over and I was not given a promotion, leadership said they planned to create clearer promotion/growth plans/metrics.... - There is also no real people leadership. The "Chief People Officer" is primarily heavily engaged on client work, leaving no real time to lead internally. - Benefits are lacking and insurance is expensive. - Pay is low, especially given no bonuses are given to employees that are not Level 4+
Pros
Great pay, great benefits, great team atmosphere, great work life balance
Cons
The CTO is overbearing and doesn't allow the teams to use their knowledge and experience to help the company meet their goals and grow. He raises his voice often and resorts to foul language when he... is in disagreement, and he likes to be 100% in control for all of the wrong reasons.
