Former Employee - Executive Assistant & Investor Relations Coordinator

I worked at Anadarko Petroleum full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Culture, Benefits, Easy Access to Management

Cons

Company was sold to Oxytocin's

Current Contractor - Anonymous Contractor

I have been working at Oceaneering International

Pros

Always new challenges to deal with based on the fast changing pace of the business and aggressive acquisition policy

Cons

Sometimes the expectations of senior management to hit deadline is unrealistic leading to a poorly executed product implementation which then needs a lot of production support.

Advice to Management

Management need to consider the needs of IT when making decisions and IT needs to not agree to all management directives
