Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Allstate full-time

Pros

Very Good company, the best I worked so far.

Cons

None None None None None

Current Employee - Program Manager

I have been working at USAA full-time for less than a year

Pros

Leaders are generally carefully selected and very well trained. Work- life balance is a reality here. There is always opportunity for growth. Pay is competitive within the industry. Benefits are... the best in the industry.

Cons

Work can be unpredictable because of fast moving targets or shifting priorities. Bonuses are not the best in the industry because of recent cost reduction efforts necessary as the company looks for... efficiency.

Advice to Management

While reorganization might be required to keep up with upcoming challenges, constantly breaking up teams reduces their effectiveness. Try hard to reorganize ABOVE the tactical level.
