The schedule can be less than convenient for parents if they have lower seniority, but the pay is helpful to parents too and is hard to find at other jobs.
Advice to Management
My managers are great! No advice needed
I worked at Lego Construction full-time for less than a year
Pros
Minority Owned Company. No State Tax in Florida. Yet!
Cons
1. Training is not that good. Expectation is high. Even after being in the office working for 10-11 hrs everyday, getting two Projects for company, I couldn't continue my job. But people who comes at... 9am/9:30 am and leaves at 4:30pm/5:00 pm are still there. Be sure to be treated differently from a group of people. Now, some might say , we have people who are doing good with this kind of training, but those people are from same country, they help themselves well but not others. Personally I was not fairly treated. I was treated like it's all my fault that I don't know, it will make you feel like may be you are dumb, even if you are asking simple questions. But new people are from their country, they are taught very well specially personally because they are from same country. 2. I will say if you join this company do not sign a lease in Miami right away, at least see for 8-10 months. Signing lease is Miami is very expensive, so you are gonna stuck with a lot of money if you are terminated suddenly. 3. Work Load is too much, it will give you headaches. Unbelievable Traffic Miami. Office is in Downtown and too save up some money you have to live far have to do round trip to office around (45 minutes +1hr)= 1 hr 45 minutes. 4. I faced some huge issues in this company, and was planning to hire attorney for workplace harassment. But I liked the Owner and didn't want to disrupt the company harmony. So, I kept it too myself. I mean how can I complain against guys that I depend on learning, who will teach me then, without evidence. Now I think, I should have walked in with a secret recorder. 5. It's like a Syndicate is going on there. Some of the people working for few years here, know that company needs them. So, they don't care anything.
Advice to Management
Training needs to be better. Rather than getting crazy on Bid Days, try to help the new guys from Beginning. Please get more Diversity. I appreciate the immigrant friendly environment. But see... your ratio of people where they from.
