Postdoctoral Researcher

Hello guys, I applied as Chemical engineer in a big company and I did with them all the interview steps (last one on 05/09/23), at the time of the interview there was no job opening and I got the interview through another division. Last week I received an email saying that they will let me know their final decision by the end of this week. Today I have received an email (with the job description attached) scheduling a call in few days for sharing the decision. Do they want to reject me on call?

    Usually a company doesn't call you to turn you down. They'll ghost you or send you and email.

    While rejection is a possibility, it's also possible that they are scheduling a call to discuss a potential job offer or further details about the role. Stay open-minded until the call takes place. You can prepare for the call by reviewing the job description attached to the email and thinking about any questions or concerns you might have. Remember to go into this call with a positive attitude and use it as an opportunity to gain valuable feedback, regardless of the outcome. Good luck!
