  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and unit care data.

  • Change bed linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answer telephone.
  • Deal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other care team members, while maintaining emotional control.
  • Communicate with food services to ensure appropriate patient diets.
  • Provide clerical and secretarial services to the nursing unit.
