Localization Specialist Overview

What does a Localization Specialist do?

Strategic marketing analysts plan, develop, and oversee marketing campaigns developed based on analytics and data. They compile and study data related to consumer behavior, industry trends, audience interaction, and competitor profiles. They then use that data to guide informed decision making when planning and targeting marketing campaigns, particularly those on digital platforms. They implement and monitor data analytics programs, and track key metrics to evaluate campaign performance. They often work in collaboration with other teams, including social media and sales.

Strategic marketing analysts typically have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related business discipline, and a background in marketing, including roles that involved strategic planning. They should be experienced with data-driven campaign planning, and comfortable compiling and evaluating marketing analytics and related data. Proficiency with analytics programs is helpful.
