AIB Group (UK) is the UK commercial banking arm of financial services provider Allied Irish Banks. Operating under the trading names Allied Irish Bank (GB) and First Trust Bank, the company provides retail, corporate, and private banking services in Northern Ireland and the UK. The Allied Irish Bank (GB) arm, which has about 35 branches and offices in the UK, targets mid-market business customers. First Trust Bank, which has some 50 locations in Northern Ireland, focuses on general banking as well as financial services such as asset management.
