They develop creative and innovative strategies to reach talent, deploy outreach campaigns, engage with talent, and perform screenings and background checks. They work with employers to refine job descriptions to better reflect the ideal candidate profile. They recommend effective recruitment tools and strategies. They play an active role in the negotiations phase and assist with making a final offer.

IT recruiters typically have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field. They have a background in recruiting, personnel, or human resources. They must be knowledgeable about recruitment tactics, and well-versed in applicable laws and regulations. These roles require excellent communication skills and negotiating abilities.
