Republic of Ireland has good private health insurance and a decent pension plan as well as 20+ Holidays and 18 weeks maternity at full pay
First Derivatives are beginning to phase out the expenses packages for Grads and Experienced Hires. Many employees in Dublin who have been living in FD accommodation with food and travel allowance have gone through localisation. They are now on higher salaries with only health insurance/pension benefits. The same procedure is beginning in London. Graduates are being signed up to ROI contracts currently without the benefits previously offered, though the baseline salary is now higher
They paid for accom but it obviously came out of the salary because that was super low. There was allowance if on assignment but most time you are not.
Decent expenses and free accommodation when based abroad.
Good travel and expense package
Health care and expenses are all covered, including rent and utility bills. Essentially leaves salary untouched except through personal expenditure. Downside is the graduate salary is a lot lower than industry average, expenses do make up for it however. Unfortunately, expenses can only be claimed for when on project/client site.
performance bonus, pension plans and health care are available but First Derivatives only offer very basic packages. Paternity leave is only 2 days, holidays are average and hours are typically long and not flexible.
Benefits are fine overall, although paternity leave could be better.
Good Expense Package and Locations
